With the advent of digital marketing, far too many students go to web-design, leading to a shortage of printing-savvy designers who can wreak havoc on a printed project. When I design for print I insure excellent communication with the printer, which is the first and number one step to a successfully printed job. I also make sure all of my specifications for size, trim, bleed, paper type, color etc., match the printing requirements of the printing company. I also have years of experience doing "press checks" with my design projects because I insist on being there for quality control. With a deep knowledge of paper, ink, printing and finishing techniques I can create beautifully designed AND correctly printed projects.
